Gusto: 3 hours, goal, courtyards. Not sure what to say, except he nailed it. I had my pre-bloat dog back. 2 tracks, 2 turns each. Both went through a courtyard on the second leg. All articles were novel. There was nowhere I would have been perplexed if it was blind. He was clear, persistent, and confident. Next, MOT turns.

Fletch: 2, one turn tracks, first one turning right, second one left. Beaverdam Ruritan Park, ball field. He was great! Had to cross some wood chips, carefully stuck his nose in my foot print. Lovely LOS, a bit slow to identify right turn, hammered left turn. By accident, both were 90s. And not a problem. Next, wean food over a couple of sessions (based on behavior) to W7 F4, then W10 F 5. If still driving forward on the track after that, will start two turn tracks. He is reliably dropping (he kinda crashes, rather than downs), on the article. So much for the retrieve I wanted…..LOL

Repeated Tuesday’s tracks in a different location in the fields, and with almost no wind. Totally different dog! I am not drawing any conclusions from this, except maybe he is now more comfortable i
