Fletch: 430 yds, RRLR, 30" old. Light snow covering.

Lovely start, didn't check out deer tracks. Overshot turn by about 10', circled back and took leg with authority. Made left turn without cast or overshoot. Difficult next turn, set in gully close to woods, and he worked it out and took leg confidently. No cast at last turn, however on last leg he left the track a couple of times to check out smells. Shortening up as he cast brought him back to the track, which he chose, however briefly! Repeated that scenario the next time he was distracted. Nice down on article.
